About me
Hands-on systems work, with web development still close at hand.
I am a systems administrator with a web development background. My work sits at the intersection of Linux, self-hosted infrastructure, automation, and modern web delivery. I still build web projects, including smaller experimental and AI-assisted apps, but my current focus is making systems reliable, secure, and useful.
What I value
Reliability, clarity, patient troubleshooting, and technical work that leaves behind better documentation than it started with.

Background
As a child in Jamaica, I was drawn to any piece of technology I could get my hands on. Some of my favorite memories were weekends spent trading Pokemon, trying new games, and eventually opening up my own devices to understand how they worked. That curiosity followed me to America and grew into a hands-on relationship with technology that still shapes how I learn and work today. What began as curiosity about devices turned into a real interest in systems, infrastructure, and the software that connects people to those systems.
Why I still build software
Coding became real for me when I found Python for Everybody by Professor Charles Severance. It made programming feel approachable, and from that point writing software became one of the most rewarding things I had ever done. I still enjoy web development, automation, and building tools because code helps me understand systems deeply and improve how they are used.
Why hire me
I care deeply about doing excellent work. I bring energy, discipline, and a willingness to keep improving until the result is strong. Whether I am troubleshooting infrastructure, documenting a process, or building a user-facing feature, I want the work to be dependable, secure, and genuinely helpful.
Resume and learning
I keep refining my craft through projects, experimentation, and documented learning. My public notes and portfolio work are part of that process.
